WHAT WE OFFER

While it is handy to have a page dedicated to the equipment a company has – and we do have one! – it can also be daunting looking at it if you’re not familiar enough with the field to know what it is you need from such a list… 

To ease that, this page will display our typical offerings, and a series of examples which may aid you in determining if we’re the solution you need.

You will find that we are not a singularly focused machine-shop. We quite often handle one-off’s, repairs, emergency-work, and large capacity machining.

Sectors we commonly work for, and some examples of work related.

Agriculture: 

We routinely assist Independent farms, and equipment-providers in the following manner.

  • Reproduction of hard to get items, or otherwise damaged, needful items.
  • Reverse engineering of components, and assistance with modifications to existing items.
  • Re-bore, and bush hinge / pin locations on sprayer-arms.
  • Re-bore, and bush hinge / pin locations on booms from back-hoes, and the like.
  • Turning clutch plates to resurface / condition pad faces, and feet.
  • Produce drive-shafts for numerous platforms; Augers, conveyors, for example.
  • Produce keys for drive-operation of aforementioned components.

Construction & Heavy Equipment: 

We routinely assist Independent contractors, and larger scale companies much in the same manner that we help the agricultural sector. There are obvious parallels in their fields. Adding to the list, however… (This also covers commercial crane equipment providers, too).

  • Reproduction of hard to get items, or otherwise damaged, needful items. Often in the form of drive-shafts, couplings, bushings, pins.
  • Reverse engineering of components, and assistance with modifications to existing items.
  • Repair buckets from excavators. Namely re-boring, and bushing hinge / pin locations.
  • Repairing forklift / fork-truck axles, and masts.
  • Disassembly, repair & reconditioning, and reassembly of bearing-housings / mounts.
  • Repairing & restoring key-ways in shafts, or, modifying existing shafts for various purpose.

Chemical & Dairy:

  • Reproduction of hard to get items, or otherwise damaged, needful items. Often in the form of specialty adapters, valve-couplings, drive-shafts, motor-couplings.
  • Reverse engineering of components, and assistance with modifications to existing items.

Fabricators: 

We routinely assist fabricators with their varied projects.

  • Machining of bed-plates.
  • Machining flanges, pipe-columns, weldments.

Motor Builders:

  • Turning bearing fits, and shafts present on electrical rotors: Ø42″ is our maximum swing for such an item.
  • Producing arbors for shaft, or rotor balancing.
  • Inspecting units for run-out, and other deficiencies.

Mining & Stone Work:

  • Repairing large bearing housings for vibratory, crushing equipment. To include installation of the bearing.
  • Producing drive-shafts, pins, bushings, and general reproduction / reverse engineering of items.
